Forest Properties is seeking a talented and financially saavy Property Manager to serve as the primary contact for a property that we manage as a 3rd party manager. This person will be responsible for the overall management of a 111-unit multifamily apartment community and will interface directly with the owner. The salary range starts at 75K and is commensurate with experience. Position is also bonus-eligible.
Essential Duties Include marketing, budgeting, financial management, property oversight, and staff supervision
- Oversee property to the highest standards with a continual focus on asset preservation and enhancement.
- Ensure that the property meets or exceeds its financial performance targets and ownership objectives.
- Maximize revenues while monitoring and controlling expenses.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and training.
- Continually focus on resident satisfaction.
- Adheres to and communicates policies, rules, and regulations to residents, maintenance staff, and vendors.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to all legal requirements is reinforced.
- Regularly inspect the property and report service repairs.
- Maintain property promotional materials, expense reporting and budgeting.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience of progressive property management experience, including staff oversight, budgeting, and monitoring expenses.
- Knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) requirements and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general office equipment.
- A proactive problem solver who is organized, detail oriented, and communicates with poise and tact.
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Able to work autonomously in a high volume, high stress environment.
