The Residences at Pedcor Homes is seeking a skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician who takes pride in a job well done. If you're the person residents count on to solve problems, complete repairs the right way, and keep a community looking its best, we want to hear from you.
We're looking for a motivated team player with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to quality. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and takes ownership of their work.
What You'll Do
- Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Perform apartment turns, make-readies, and punch work
- Complete general plumbing, electrical, drywall, and construction repairs
- Maintain community grounds and assist with debris removal
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify effective solutions
- Assist with larger maintenance projects as needed
- Provide exceptional service to residents and fellow team members
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 1 year of apartment maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mindset
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Weekend availability required
- Occasional holiday work may be required
Preferred Qualifications
- HVAC experience preferred
- HVAC Certification preferred
- CPO Certification preferred
