Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager, Leasing Coordinator is a leasing-focused role responsible for driving all leasing activity across a portfolio of Class B and Class C multifamily communities in the Twin Cities market. The role also carries select assistant manager responsibilities as assigned by the RHOME Branch Manager. This position is designed for an experienced leasing professional who can independently manage a leasing portfolio through stabilization, while contributing to broader operational support at the direction of branch RHOME leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all marketing and leasing activities for occupied and vacant units (ILS platforms, community website, signage, etc.).
- Coordinate prospective tenants, conduct showings, and pre-qualify applicants.
- Manage application processing, tenant screening, and lease generation/execution.
- Assist in operational decision-making related to move-ins, move-outs, applications, and deposit disposition, as assigned by the Branch Leader.
- Provide weekly updates to supervisor on marketing activity and leasing progress.
- Oversee lease renewal process and pricing adjustments.
- Manage the unit turn process to ensure timely make-ready and minimize vacancy.
- Support onboarding of new properties and ensure readiness for marketing and leasing.
- Support branch rent collection efforts, including delinquency tracking and collections coordination, as assigned by supervisor.
- Assist with reviewing, coordinating, and troubleshooting maintenance work orders, as assigned by supervisor.
- Conduct field visits including property inspections, surveys, and site evaluations.
- Collaborate with Branch Manager on ongoing operational initiatives and projects.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- 2 years of real estate leasing or multifamily property management experience preferred.
- Preferred Active real estate license or attained within 6 months of employment
- Valid driver's license required.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage leasing operations and make informed decisions.
- Strong knowledge of Class B and Class C multifamily property management preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with property management software (AppFolio preferred).
- High school diploma required (college degree preferred).
