What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Leasing Professional, you’ll manage all aspects of apartment rentals, from attracting and assessing potential residents to completing lease documentation and move-in procedures. Your ability to build relationships, provide exceptional service, and create a positive experience for every prospect and resident will be key to our success.
- Manage the full leasing process by creating applicant files, verifying qualifications, processing applications, conducting apartment tours, and completing lease agreements with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Build strong relationships with prospective and current residents by providing responsive communication, following up consistently, and creating a positive community experience where residents feel valued.
- Support occupancy goals by tracking leasing activity, maintaining tour-ready apartments, promoting resident retention efforts, and identifying opportunities to enhance the resident experience.
- Partner with the property team to support daily operations, assist with marketing initiatives, research competitors, and represent the community with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Maintain compliance with Fair Housing Laws and company policies while demonstrating integrity, respect, and professionalism in every interaction.
What We’ll Expect from You:
- Prior customer service experience required; leasing or sales experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance may be required for travel to multiple properties.
- One to three months of related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to connect with residents, prospects, and office staff.
- Strong customer service and sales focus with the ability to create positive experiences and build relationships.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving goals, solving problems, and supporting the success of the team.
