Leasing Specialist

Position:  Leasing Specialist for Westwinds Apartments - Annapolis, MDD

Role Overview 

As a Leasing Specialist for Westwinds Apartments, you will work at a fast pace to lease beautiful apartment homes in a very competitive market at this community with 210 units.  In addition, you will deliver after-sales service to meet the ongoing needs of existing residents. We are looking for an all-star Leasing Specialist who enjoys a multi-faceted role which includes leasing, resident engagement, event planning, social media, marketing outreach, and customer service.

Privately held family company, we own and operate all of our assets and invest in the long-term.  Our portfolio consists of 10,000 units throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

 Most Important Responsibilities 

• Sales focused role, greeting prospects and touring the community. 
• Strong lead management to be able to convert leads to leases.
• Follow up via phone, email, RentCafe and Yardi CRM.
• Process applications, renewals and leasing paperwork in Yardi.
• Maintain accurate guest cards, traffic logs and other reports.
• Create and conduct fun events for the residents on a regular basis.
• Deliver great customer service to your current residents.
• Support resident retention efforts and handle all resident interactions professionally.
• Analyze and understand your market.

Most Important Qualifications

• Leasing experience preferred, Yardi a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. 
• Must be willing to work 2-3 Saturdays a month (still enjoy 40 hours per week).
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail required.
• Self-motivation and drive. Quick on your feet with a strong work ethic.
• People skills. Ability to have productive conversations with prospects and residents.
• Vehicle and driver’s license.
