SUMMARY:
Would you consider yourself handy? Do you generally enjoy fixing things? Have some experience in building maintenance and mechanical systems? Then our newly-expanded, 483-unit luxury apartment community could use your help! Viking Lakes Residences is currently seeking a maintenance technician to add to our hardworking team. This individual will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day maintenance operations by performing inspections, preventative maintenance, general repair and service coordination with standards that meet our residents’ high expectations. Our Maintenance Technician will display strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a solid understanding of building maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, cleaning and being a team player. MV Ventures is a growing real estate developer, and as the portfolio expands, so too will the expectations and future opportunities for this position.

To perform this role successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty successfully. The position will require operation of a motor vehicle to complete service calls and transport tools, materials, and equipment. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record are required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 lbs. Will be on your feet and mobile frequently, both inside and outside of buildings. Regularly performs computer work, operates general office equipment (computer, phones, copier, and scanner), operates heavy equipment, machinery and tools, and filing.
PROXIMITY:
Qualified candidates must reside within a 30-minute emergency response time from the assigned propert(ies).
