PrimeSites is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician I to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an individual with basic maintenance experience who is eager to develop their skills and build a long-term career in multifamily housing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with apartment turns, including painting, drywall repair, and general maintenance.
- Perform basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and other building systems.
- Assist senior maintenance technicians with HVAC, appliance, and preventative maintenance projects.
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests while providing excellent customer service.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and property deficiencies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance shops, storage areas, tools, and equipment.
- Participate in an on-call rotation as assigned.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and maintenance activities.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with snow removal as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of maintenance, construction, landscaping, facilities, or related hands-on experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and general repair techniques.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Tech is required to supply their own basic hand tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
