You'll handle routine repairs, apartment turns, emergency maintenance, and ensure a high standard of living for our residents with the assistance of our management and support teams. We have three properties in the Detroit area. You will have a home site and assist at the other two sites as needed. Direction will be provided by management and our on-site maintenance supervisor.  Key Responsibilities: Perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and unit turnovers Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies, including on-call support Maintain HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances and structural Maintain curb appeal by keeping lawns, sidewalks, community areas, and parking lots clear of trash and debris. Order maintenance supplies and maintain proper inventory Use and maintain tools and equipment properly and safely Follow safety protocols and attend required training Snow Removal  On call maintenance Skills: Task management Time management Professionalism Ability to adhere to all OSHA/MIOSHA and company safety standards and procedures Willingness to learn Basic Maintenance  We offer a great benefit package including generous paid holiday, vacation and medical time as well as 401K, health insurance and other benefits. EEO Qualifications 2 years of maintenance or related experience preferred Comfortable lifting up to 50-100 lbs. and working in various conditions (heights, tight spaces, weather) Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook); RealPage experience a plus Trade school or industry certifications a plus Candidates must have a valid driver's license, a dependable vehicle, and pass a criminal background check.
