The Role

The Regional Sales Manager (“RSM”) provides sales and strategy and operational expertise across a designated region by managing the day-to-day volume for leasing support, training and scheduling processes. You will partner with executive leadership and their teams by anticipating and optimizing appropriate leasing support by managing the scheduling needs of the communities. You will provide guidance to and manage a team of Regional Community Consultants (“RCC”) to accomplish this. The RSM will support, engage, coach, and monitor performance of RCC’s in order to achieve community, regional and organizational sales goals.

The RSM should be a champion for the best resident experience and care deeply about creating an engaging onsite associate experience.


Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides regional leasing support to onsite teams through monitoring calendars and scheduling staff coverage with the Regional Community Consultants. Provides leasing support needs and cross selling between communities.
  • Reviews sales traffic volume and online guest cards regularly with the Regional Community Consultants to ensure community service levels are met. Collaborates as a liaison with onsite Managers to ensure this achievement.
  • Schedule and delegate workload between Regional Community Consultants to ensure work is being completed accurately and in a timely fashion. Partnering with onsiteManagers for feedback on day-to-day community tasks and responsibilities.
  • Conducts one-on-one meetings with RegionalCommunity Consultants on a daily/weekly basis to provide feedback and review performance goals and expectations.
  • Leverages technology platforms to communicate and manage leads. Understands the occupancy, rents, and leasing needs
  • Follows and reinforces all applicable AVB policies and procedures and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws as needed, specifically Fair Housing regulations.

You Have...

Qualified candidates will have 3+ year of multi-family or related property management industry experience or equivalent experience in retail or hospitality. High school diploma or equivalency (GED) required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
