JOB DESCRIPTION
Trend tracking
• Track customer and business needs along with potential vendors and solutions in each area of need.
• Engage with vendors and external partners (e.g., VCs) to understand and track trends and new solutions.
Pilots
• Design, implement, and support methodology for business-led innovation initiatives.
• Aid business segment teams in assessing and making build / buy / partner decisions.
• Track in-flight pilots, and support pilot leaders in measuring results and developing case studies, and work with the Operations Process teams to manage pilot timing and initiative overlap.
• Develop case studies with quantitative (e.g., revenue and cost impact) and qualitative (e.g., customer and team member feedback) analysis.
• Support and inform innovation road mapping and prioritization workshops.
Thought leadership
• Provide consolidated reporting on trends and the internal perspective on tested solutions.
• Coordinate the response to client, investor, and internal requests for thought leadership.
• Maintain a repository of thought leadership documents, contact list, and internal portal page.
Other Responsibilities:
• Completes various human resources, financial, administrative, and other reports and analysis, and performs other duties as assigned or as necessary.
Organizational Responsibilities:
• Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, financial and operational processes related to area(s) of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriate individual(s).
• Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Company, property, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards by immediately reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/resident injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individual(s).
• Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Keeps abreast of current changes in technology, processes, and standards within the industry and area(s) of responsibility by attending internal and external training classes, research and/or subscribing to the internet or other professional publications, or utilizing other appropriate method(s) to obtain business and professional information, and applies knowledge and practices to area(s) of responsibility.
