US Property Systems Support Analyst

Dallas, TX

This highly-visible position reports to the Director of Property Systems for Greystar Owned Assets. This position serves as the business/systems liaison between executives, operations, and accounting in the maintenance of our Property Management, Payment, Leasing and Accounting systems. The Analyst will develop business reports, administer the systems using tools to meet the business and reporting needs of the organization which allows executives to access and analyze real time information.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The qualified applicant has proven experience in the following areas:

  • Property Management System experience (Entrata, Yardi, etc.)
  • Ability to grasp accounting, business, and company-wide reporting system requirements
  • Translation of operational and business requirements into system technical requirements
  • Understanding of Entrata functionality is preferred
  • Contribute to process improvement/efficiency projects
  • Strong documentation skills - including excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An understanding of basic accounting principles preferred but not required
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • Three years related work experience – multi-family housing experience is preferred
  • Work experience in a .net environment preferred, knowledge of SQL a plus

Essential Responsibilities

  • Resolves escalated technical requests and assists peers through education, mentoring and direct support
  • Assess and coordinate technical project work through project management best practices
  • Research and duplicate difficult configuration, compatibility or product defect issues and track results of investigations in appropriate systems
  • Tracks, documents and resolves user requests and requirements utilizing the support center call tracking software
  • Participate in testing and evaluating new applications, systems enhancements, programming upgrades, and other systems and applications improvements
  • Gather information and reports on user support issues, trends, and other areas factors related to support issues, and works with appropriate team members to assist in developing solutions that enable greater efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Contribute to process improvement/efficiency projects
  • Assist with small group training on systems applications as necessary.
