Assistant Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team! Pacific Heritage Realty & Management is looking to fill an Assistant Property Manager position in the City of Ventura for a newly constructed Class-A stabilized apartment property.
The ideal candidate is polished, engaging and dynamic with strong leadership skills, sales and business acumen, and an exceptional problem-solving mindset. Must work well under pressure, be a self-starter, and be flexible with day to day changes.
The candidate will assist in achieving revenue growth, occupancy goals, resident satisfaction, successful marketing campaigns, and asset performance expectations. The position is responsible for support of all daily operations including organizational duties, liaising with residents, collecting rents, evaluating applicants and negotiating vendor contracts as well as inspecting property conditions and coordinating maintenance work.
The position will institute and monitor company policies and procedures related to property management; will participate in recruitment, training, development, and supervision of the leasing team; and is responsible for maintaining the physical assets and performance of properties.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3-5+ years in multifamily property management required
Opportunity to live onsite, if desired
Superior organizational skills and strong communications skills (written and verbal)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites. Entrata or Yardi experience is required, or similar
Detailed-oriented, organized, ability to interact effectively in a small team environment with prospects, residents, peers, management, and ownership
Demonstrate initiative, professionalism and good judgement
Enthusiastic, reliable, organized and able to multi-task
Talent for business management and distinguished conflict resolution skills
Ensure company, properties, and staff policies and procedures comply with State and Federal Fair Housing Laws
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
Must possess a valid driver’s license, maintain current auto insurance, and maintain acceptable driving record
College Diploma or equivalent experience
