Cabana Attendant

Job Requirements

SKILLS AND ABILITY:

Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to recognize an unsafe social situation and be able to address it with those at risk in order to avoid an accident or injury to a resident using the cabana.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent

The job is light in physical demand. The employee may sit, stand and/or walk throughout the workday. The employee may bend at the waist to lift and carry up to 10 pounds for short distances and bend knees to lift objects from the floor and twist at the waist and move arms in a sweeping motion in order to clean floors. Use a step stool may be required to clean windows. Frequently extends hands or arms in any direction. Frequently seizing, holding, grasping, turning or otherwise working with hands.

The work is conducted primarily indoors with temperature control and natural and artificial light and the noises of activities in the cabana. Outdoor activities require exposure to seasonal weather and the associated temperature fluctuations.
