The Bloomfield Hills Corporate Division is currently seeking for a HR Administrator to join the team in a full-time capacity.

Responsibility Summary:
The HR Administrator is responsible for support the Executive Director of HR in managing employee relations, HRIS & onboarding systems, regulatory compliance, recruitment processes, and training and development initiatives. The HR Administrator is also responsible for assisting the Benefits Administrator on administrative tasks.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Participate in the development of HR objectives and systems including: queries and standard reports for ongoing company requirements
- Administers onboarding activities and exit interviews
- Prepare paperwork, schedule, and facilitate new hire orientation
- Provide guidance and interpretation for business operations in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters
- Assists in conducting investigations and provides supporting paperwork for conclusion of investigations
- Analyze results of investigations to provide solutions to help solve issues and improve manager and employee relations.
- Assists in the creation and development of training programs for educational services to employees (i.e. New Hire Orientation, HRIS platform, etc.)
- Audit employee files, paperwork, I-9’s, billing invoices, pay changes and other employee related documents.
- Organize and maintain employee records.
- Monitor filing system to ensure records are being retained for the correct amount of time.
- Assist the recruiting department and additional sites with candidate searches, phone screens, background and reference checks, as needed.
- Assist in the creation of the company newsletter.
- Coordinate company events such as the Dream Cruise Party, the holiday party and volunteer activities, etc.
- Ensures legal compliance of state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required (I-9 audit specifically)
Desired Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a human resources role is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Must possess exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to various locations via private or public air transportation.
