ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER

POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for managing the daily inquiries of our valued residents, both commercial and residential, in accordance with company policies, lease agreements, and applicable laws including Rent Stabilization ordinances.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Property Manager with responding to inquiries from residents and commercial tenants via phone calls or written communication
- Responsible for Work Order follow-ups
- Generate and manage resident nuisance letters and other notices necessary
- Read, understand, and interpret legal documents in order to properly communicate with residents and commercial tenants regarding questions or concerns
- Assist with property signage standardization and posting
- Take initiative in identifying customer needs and provide services to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Assist with posting notices on an as needed basis only
- Assist with meeting vendors to provide property access and unit access
- Perform additional tasks and projects assigned by the Property Manager
- Assist with overseeing the concierge team
- Assist with property walks to ensure common areas are clean and free of damage
- Effectively communicate with vendors and construction teams on the daily operations and report back to Property Manager

- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to diffuse challenging situations/conversations with residents, commercial tenants, and guests of the building
- Able to read, understand and interpret legal documents
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Proficient in writing
