Job Description
This exciting, marketing driven position will create and coordinate social and physical activity programs and other miscellaneous resident related functions. These events assist to achieve community goals surrounding resident retention. In addition, this role plays an integral part in the sales process by working closely with the Community Manager and Sales Consultants and will ultimately contribute to the success of the community. There will be a great deal of community cross marketing with local businesses to integrate their services into the apartment community.

Qualifications

What your day might look like
  • Create, plan and coordinate all resident functions and activities for the apartment community; 2-5 activities a day, 7 days a week
  • Monitors the purchasing and coordinating any items required for events
  • Maintain prospect attendance records for each event when possible, collecting prospect contact information for future use and follow up.
  • Creating, editing, posting and advertising resident functions monthly
  • Take photos of residents and events for upcoming media prints; advertising events on social media and other avenues to ensure event attendance is high
  • Provide input into the development of the budget as it relates to activities; find ways to nourish vendor partnerships to minimize costs and make connections
  • Schedule and manage transportation program
  • Meet with potential contactors and vendors to preform services for the residents

What we are looking for
  • Previous event and program planning experience
  • Ambitious attitude with creative ideas
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Yardi/OneSite software
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to read, write and communicate effectively
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business discipline are required.
