Asset Management Associate

Job Description
The Asset Management Associate will be responsible for representing ownership interests for all deals across the Active Adult portfolio. The Associate will support asset business planning, overseeing property operations, and conducting asset financial analysis. The Asset Management Associate is responsible for reviewing property underwriting, budgets, cash flow, and other relevant performance indicators, as well as collaborating with Asset Management Directors in creating and overseeing performance-enhancing strategies across the Active Adult platform.
The Associate will further serve as a liaison between asset managers, regional acquisition teams, developers, capital partners, lenders, and top Greystar executives. Therefore, the Associate must be extremely detailed orientated, organized, and process oriented. This position interfaces heavily with various stakeholders both internally and externally, so applicants must have dynamic written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to think critically and perform in time-pressured environments. Prior multifamily excel modeling experience is required.
Education
MBA in related major, real estate or finance preferred
Qualifications
4+ Years of work experience in commercial real estate or finance
Strong quantitative background in real estate and finance
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Innovative problem-solver with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex issues
Ability to handle large volume of work while producing quality results
Excellent personal and work ethic
