Senior Marketing Associate
McLean, VA
The National Client Marketing Senior Associate assists in providing the Company’s top third-party clients with customized, integrated marketing strategies ensuring consistent deployment across their portfolios. The team member will partner with Client Services, Property Management, and Regional Marketing to implement a marketing platform that aligns with the client’s investment strategy.
Establish and maintain a relationship with assigned clients’ marketing representatives.
Assist in identifying client goals, priorities and initiatives then assists in developing integrated marketing strategies for assigned clients. Will also update and manage the distribution of the marketing section of the client playbook for those who are assigned to them.
Communicate marketing plans, goals, resources and strategy to the Property Management Lead, Regional Property Managers and Regional Marketing team members for assigned clients. Participation in budget meetings will also be required.
Assist in managing the development of creative, collateral, and promotional pieces. This includes development for new branding and rebranding.
Perform audits and review marketing analytics and performance for websites, lead management tools, and other
marketing programs for assigned clients. Provides clients and operations with monthly and/or quarterly reporting on their portfolio results and program adoption, along with providing budget recommendations and review on behalf of Operations.
Responsible for proposing, presenting and education on potential new goals for clients. This can include, but is not limited to; ratings and review contests, preferred employer programs and social media plans.
Responsible for marketing oversight of property transitions which include new business, onboarding and off-
boarding for assigned clients. They will assist in preparing the strategic marketing plan and will partner with the regional marketing teams for local information and property specific opportunities.
Responsible for new business support for assigned client base. The new business support responsibilities include support in RFP preparation.
Other duties as assigned by management.
External candidates must be based out of DC/McLean, Nashville, Orlando or Chicago. Internal candidates (current Greystar associates can be based out of any city office, ideal is East Coast)
Education
Four year degree in marketing, advertising, or business and/or equivalent experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to develop and manage marketing and advertising campaigns, conduct and facilitate leasing sales, and marketing training, and to create and make presentations to managers, clients/owners, and on-site team members.
- Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, property management (preferably Yardi and/or OneSite), and database management programs in order to develop presentation materials, and generate or complete required reports.
- Knowledge of apartment operations and industry-related marketing concepts and terms in order to read, interpret, and apply market information to understand its impact on occupancy, traffic, retention, pricing, and revenue.
- Demonstrates skills in using the internet for marketing and product advertising, and proficiency in navigating websites and internet communication tools such as e-mail, Craigs List, MySpace, YouTube, and other internet tools.
- Employment history that demonstrates the application and usage of a marketing or administrative background sufficient to coordinate and support company-wide marketing and advertising initiatives and programs.
