Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financials and variance comments for 8 – 12 properties
  • Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts for assigned properties and other entities as assigned
  • Research outstanding items on Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Record journal entries for bank transfers and wires (incoming and outgoing)
  • Provide accounting support to the Controller and CFO
  • Provide support for various Entrata projects as assigned
  • Interface with Property Managers, Regional Managers and Leadership to solve accounting related issues
  • Ability to maintain a General Ledger: post Journal Entries, reconcile accounts, and close out periods.
  • Seek and implement processes that will streamline the accounting function and general operations.

Required Skills:

  • Must have a good understanding of working with multiple entities
  • Proficient in full-cycle accounting having worked both A/R & A/P
  • The candidate will be resourceful and have a willingness to accept new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communications
  • Proficient with technology, software and capable of learning new systems
  • Must be highly detailed, deadline oriented, and organized
  • Ability to prioritize work load and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external business associates to promote positive professional working relationships and environments
