Business Systems Analyst
Irving, TX
Our rapidly growing company is seeking a Business Systems Analyst within the newly-formed Investment and Development Technology Team. This role will be responsible for requirements gathering, implementation activities, and ongoing support of systems used by our Investment and Development lines of business.
- Assists in defining the scope of projects in collaboration with project manager, project sponsor, and key stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met
- Owns tasks on projects related to implementation or enhancement of line of business systems
- Provides first-level support for Investment and Development line of business systems
- Escalates incidents to software provider or internal escalation support teams as necessary, managing incident resolution confirmation and follow-up
- Responsible for developing and ongoing process ownership of IT Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM)
- Conducts risk analysis and develops appropriate risk response strategies
- Seeks opportunities to improve productivity, cost containment, and improve process performance
- Works in a collaborative fashion with the broader Greystar technology organization, including IT Project Management Office (PMO) and related systems teams while reporting into the Investment and Development Technology Team
Education
- More than two years supporting or acting in technical SME capacity for investment, accounting, job costing, or development/construction systems
- Experience working with project management and documentation tools (MS Project, Clarizen, Visio, etc.)
- PMI, ITIL, IIBA certification or equivalent
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field preferred
Qualifications
- 2 years' minimum experience that demonstrates experience with cost accounting systems.

- Understanding of software development lifecycles (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative)
