Job Description

This role performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas of the property meet the standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety and overall functionality. You will have the opportunity to interact with residents of the community daily. Emphasis in providing a high level of customer service and team work is expected.

Education

High School diploma, GED or related experience and/or training.

Qualifications

What your day might look like

• Prepare apartment homes for new move in’s and complete “make-ready” process of unoccupied apartment homes
• Complete resident service requests and repairs in a timely manner. Provide follow up and feedback to resident on work completed in home.
• Maintaining cleanliness of exterior buildings, common area amenities and parking areas.
• Assisting the Service Supervisor with vendor management and other duties.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections for equipment and safety of apartment community.

What we are looking for

• Knowledgeable and skilled in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• High level of professionalism in both manner and dress
• Excellent communication skills; ability to read, write and communicate effectively
• Valid EPA/Universal certifications are highly desired
