Sr. Community Manager

We have a great opportunity for a Community Manager in Thousand Oaks. This position will manage two separate properties. Responsibilities include achieving the financial and operational goals established for these communities. Accountable for ensuring the optimum operational and financial performance of each community, including personnel, leasing, collections, resident services and events, maintenance, revenue enhancing, and other capital improvements, contracted services, reporting, and safety and compliance with all state, federal and/or local laws including those related to fair housing and employment.

Experience with renovation and affordable housing are a plus. Responsibilities include achieving the financial and operational goals established for the community. Accountable for ensuring the optimum operational and financial performance, including personnel, leasing, collections, resident services, maintenance, revenue enhancing, and other capital improvements, contracted services, reporting, and safety and compliance with all state, federal and/or local laws including those related to fair housing and employment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing communities with 350 + units
• Demonstrated leadership and strategic thinking skills
• Effective problem solving, written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of financial reporting, preparation of annual budgets and vendor contracts.
• Knowledge of advanced sales, marketing and apartment management.
• YARDI, ADP, and Microsoft Office.
• Requires a high level of organizational and time management skills
