The Regional Leasing Consultant for Northern New Jersey is responsible for creating a positive, professional, and engaging brand experience for all customers. This position is responsible for taking ownership of finding and leasing apartment homes for prospective residents by sharing knowledge about each community, brand, and neighborhood to which they are is assigned. They will listen to customer needs and be attentive to provide outstanding customer service and contribute to the achievement of community, portfolio, and organizational goals.

The Regional Leasing Consultant is a shared regional resource that will support multiple communities within the Northern New Jersey geographical area. They will focus primarily on sales, customer service and administrative tasks at the various communities they support, however may be asked to perform other duties as assigned. The Regional Leasing Consultant will familiarize themselves with each property they support, to ensure excellent customer service is provided to all residents and prospective residents.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Assist with community leasing goals and sales goals through effective selling, listening, and follow-through skills
• Successfully takes ownership of and solves resident problems and concerns with minimal managerial oversight/assistance
• The ideal candidate is a high-performer, flexible, comfortable in a quick-changing and fast-paced work environment and highly organized.
• Manages time and organizes tasks effectively while assigned and traveling to multiple communities.Understanding that the schedule is subject to the needs of each assigned community
• Understands the Customer Experience vision for each brand, as well as what differentiates each community brand from the competition; possesses accurate and in-depth knowledge of community inventory, pricing, and availability for each assigned community, as well as local community, neighborhood, and areas of interest
• Maintains general knowledge of competitors, including features, benefits, and current pricing
• Has a genuine desire to help both residents and colleagues in Creating a Better Way to Live.
• Weekend availability is a must
