DEPARTMENT SUMMARY
The Property Operations team is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the individual communities across the portfolio with a focus on creating value, providing superior service to our customers, and properly maintaining the community. This department collaborates closely with the Asset Management team to identify opportunities and preserve the value of the assets. Property Operations remains flexible and responsive in order maximize portfolio performance in the face of changing and dynamic market conditions.
POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Full-time Associate will report to the Vice President of Operations and have two main responsibilities:
Spearhead a variety of projects aimed at streamlining operations and creating value for the portfolio.
Associate will conduct detailed research and provide supporting reports with findings and recommendations.
Associate will also collaborate with other departments and manage the different aspects of a selected project till completion. Assist with the management of third-party contact center operations.
In collaboration with the Senior Contact Center Manager, Associate will manage the day-to-day functions and monitor performance metrics to ensure the optimal customer experience with a focus on running an efficient operation.
Periodic travel to contact center locations will be required.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all aspects of value-creation initiatives including identifying opportunities, underwriting projects, preparing executive summaries with supporting detail, preparing project plans, and successfully executing the initiative through completion
Co-manage and direct contact center operations
Provide analytical support including review of operating reports and financial statements, to evaluate performance and identify opportunities
Analyze various data sources, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations
Provide support to Operations Vice Presidents and Division Managers on various operational metrics and identify actionable items
Understand internal & external reporting systems
Manage and support general department activities
QUALIFICATIONS
College degree preferred
3-5 years related work experience; financial analysis or investment management in multifamily sector preferred
Proficiency in Excel required
SQL/SSRS experience preferred, but not required.
Proficient in other Microsoft Office applications such as: Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Project
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Strong organizational, time-management, attention to detail and accuracy, written and verbal communication skills.
Possesses thorough understanding of property management software systems (preferably Yardi) and ability to read operating statements.
Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and effective collaborative working style.
Ability to travel.
