The Senior Director, Enterprise Business Systems will be responsible for the strategy, design, project delivery and customer success of all application related projects impacting Greystar’s core systems, including but not limited to Oracle Cloud financials, Dell Boomi and Salesforce CRM. This position is critical in driving best-in-class business applications for our company and requires a mix of leadership, systems expertise, and hands-on development and support knowledge. You will partner with both technical and business professionals internally and externally to build, maintain and support systems across the organization. This individual will be a key member of the IT leadership organization.

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, vision, and direction to the Enterprise Business Systems organization
- Become a partner of choice to the organization, build and maintain relationships with functional leaders across Greystar
- Create and manage the Enterprise Business Systems budget and provide input in the administration of related budgets
- Ensure that projects are accurately scoped, budgeted, resourced and conducted in line with IT strategy, security and governance guidelines
- Meet regularly with internal customers, identifying issues and opportunities, and addressing as appropriate
- Develop user requirements and vendor selection criteria for enterprise business systems
- Partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders to identify and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria
- Ensure projects are defined, tracked and communicated in a consistent and effective manner
- Analyze long-term requirements for corporate systems and make recommendations and proposals for implementing technology strategies
- Manages relationships with key business systems technology providers, strategic vendors and outsourced service providers
Education
College degree in information technology or management information systems and/or equivalent experience in a like position are preferred.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to create and make presentations, develop and write business plans, system assessments and procedural documentation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs in order to complete required reports and produce necessary communication materials.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using property management software used by the Company, computer operating systems, and database, spreadsheet, and word processing programs sufficient to maintain, troubleshoot, and install as needed.
- Demonstrated ability in the technical acumen needed to lead and interact with technical programmers, database administrators and system administrators.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large and comprehensive projects and maintain an effective method for project management that can be established and utilized by others.
- Employment history that demonstrates the selection, implementation, management and usage of business systems and the ability to effectively interact with business groups in the successful design and tailoring of these systems to meet their needs.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and lead a team of mid-level, geographically dispersed personnel.
- Knowledge and experience in software programming, business systems analysis, technical systems management or database management is preferred.
