Corporate Finance Analyst
Charleston, SC
The Corporate Finance Analyst will work to support the Chief Financial Officer with the financial oversight and management of the parent Company. The Corporate Finance Analyst will primarily focus on the following:
- Assist in underwriting strategic investment opportunities and creating related presentation materials for Investment Committee/Executive Committee
- Developing and maintaining a Greystar sponsor equity performance track record model
- Forming and underwriting portfolios for employee coinvestment vehicles
- Assisting legal and senior team members in the review of legal agreements related to coinvestment entities (ownership transfers, LLC agreements, etc.)
- Preparation of meeting materials (i.e. equity books, memos), including gathering relevant data, compiling PowerPoint presentations, printing materials when necessary, etc.
- Interfacing with external affiliated capital partners for fundraising and investment reporting needs
- Assisting with other general team activities as needed (i.e. review of quarterly bond reporting materials, corporate data points, etc.).
Education
College degree in business, finance, or related field and/or equivalent experience is preferred in corporate finance related position. Graduate degree preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.5
- At least 1-2 years of previous experience in banking, finance or accounting, with demonstrated interest in commercial real estate
- Exceptional proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with relational databases and BI platforms highly desired
- Strong quantitative background with financial modeling experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle large volumes of work across multiple focuses; outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Enthusiastic and proactive with respect to managing workload and professional development
