Klingbeil Capital Management is looking to fill a Property Manager position in Sacramento California.

The Property Manager performs complex property management work including, but not limited to managing and coordinating property operations, maintenance, and administrative functions. Work under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

A minimum of 2/3 years experience in Residential Management
Customer service skills
Strong computer skills
Strong initiative and problem solving skills
Outstanding written and oral communication skills

Position Summary:   The Property Manager has full responsibility for maximizing all phases and performance of their property. Direct and supervise all staff to achieve the financial and occupancy goals of the community while maintaining the property in good physical condition and appearance. Thorough understanding of the competitive market, budget management and providing exceptional service are required. Manager will also implement policies and procedures, supervise maintenance of building and grounds, administrative functions and monitor the performance of vendors and contractors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education: College graduate or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
  2. Experience: Must be knowledgeable and comply with all Fair Housing and ADA laws and regulations. 
  3. Skills: At least two years of property management experience are required, and the following skills are expected:
  • Accounting
  • Human resource management and training.
  • Sales customer service.
  • Strong computer literacy with MS Word, Excel, E-mail and Internet.
  • MRI software is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills required.

The position requires the ability to deal well with people and have a desire to assist them. In addition, the position requires the following:

    • Strong customer service presentation and an ability to close sales
    • Must display effective communication and organizational skills.
    • Must be very responsible, outgoing, empathetic, pleasant, prompt, self –sufficient, and professional. 
    • Receives and follows detailed instructions 
    • Ability to read and write English fluently
    1. Training: Generally, minimum training is required on current property management system and PC software programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Training level and competency level may vary due to the special needs of the property.
    2. Attendance: Position requires the ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks of the year. Due to the property staffing limitations, it is extremely critical that the individual be able to work their scheduled hours plus any other hours necessary to complete the job. Position requires the ability to serve on-call, as scheduled or as necessary.
