We are currently searching for a Digital Marketing Analyst to be based at our Arlington, VA Corporate Headquarters.

The Role

The Digital Marketing Analyst will work with internal resources and vendor partners as needed to set the optimal marketing mix and spend for our portfolio of communities. This individual will be instrumental in helping to achieve growth objectives by monitoring performance, performing specific marketing channel and cross-channel marketing mix analyses, designing and analyzing tests, and making optimization recommendations that drive increased efficiency and effectiveness of our online advertising.

Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Track, report, and analyze marketing channel performance
  • Execute tests across digital channels; collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI
  • Drive regular marketing mix/spend decisions
  • Create custom analytics tagging for our websites and work with internal teams and vendors to ensure they are implemented correctly
  • Monitor email channel uptime and performance
  • Help audit our communities’ presence across all digital media and execute updates

You Have...

Our ideal candidate ishighly curious and passionate about achieving results through actionable, data-driven insights. He/she has excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met. He/she must possess excellent problem solving skills and the ability to derive and present insights from data.

Education:

  • BS/MS degree in a quantitative, test-driven field (engineering, mathematics, business)

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Management of oneor more online marketing channels (PPC, SEO, Display, Email, Affiliates) or deep understanding of these marketing channels
  • Experience with website analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe SiteCatalyst, etc.)
  • Strong familiarity with optimization and targeting tools, such as Adobe Target, Optimizely, Visual Website Optimizer, and others
  • Experience with SEO analytics tools (e.g. Linkdex, Searchmetrics, Conductor, MOZ, Brightedge, Screaming Frog) a plus
  • Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite) a plus
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
  • Experience with statistical analysis platforms (e.g. SPSS, R, SAS) a plus

Skills:

  • Deep digital marketing analytics skills
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Advanced skills with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Ability to define A/B/n and multivariate test scenarios and success metrics
  • Solid understanding of key statistical concepts
