The Role
We are looking for a Superintendent I to join our CapEx/ Redevelopment construction team in the NYC region. He or she will be responsible for the on-site supervision of multi-family renovation and capital improvement projects. This willinclude interior apartment renovations, common area renovations, and building infrastructure upgrades and repairs. The Superintendent I is generally capable of managing multiple scopes of work and multiple subcontractors among several properties to ensuresafety, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are attained.
You Have...
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience in the multi-family housing construction industry, and redevelopment experience in an occupied residential setting is preferred. He or she has the ability to coordinate workwith subcontractors and multiple disciplines within AvalonBay (Asset Management, Residential Services, and Construction). Computer literacy is a must and preference will be given to candidates with a degree in Construction Management.
