Assistant Property Manager
Columbus, OH
This role will have responsibility for Grandview and Arena District properties.
The hours for this role will be Monday - Friday 9:15AM-6:00PM, Saturdays 9:15AM-5:00PM, Sundays 12:00PM-4:00PM.
Weekend availability is required on a rotational basis.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- Leasing experience
- Prior sales consultant experience
- Hospitality experience

Job Description
LOCATION: Columbus
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to the Senior Property Manager or Property Manager
CORE JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Acts as Manager on Duty in absence of the on-site Property Manager.
2. Cultivate prospect and resident relationships through process improvement initiatives.
3. Maintain a significant presence on the sales floor as an effective sales associate and solid understanding of product in the market.
4. Assist in ensuring team is in compliance with company policies in addition to all Fair Housing laws, state/tenant/landlord laws and all regulations and ensure team is acting accordingly.
5. Develop an in depth understanding of the operations with in the physical asset. Inclusive of call boxes, key fobs, Key Trac , and other security systems.
6. Lead collection efforts for current, prospective and past residents.
7. Create and distribute written correspondence that is professional and well timed. Inclusive of renewals and new lease documents.
8. Process move ins and move outs to ensure accuracy of resident
9. Provide support in the training efforts and on boarding of the on site team.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. On- site experience or Apartment Management Designations preferred.
Experience: One plus years in multi-family Property Management preferred.
Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Fair Housing laws. TBD
Skills: A proven track record of both sales and a high level of attention to detail when completing paperwork. The ability to effectively communicate, problem solve and manage people.
