Assistant Community Manager

We have an opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated and experienced Assistant Community Manager / Leasing Professional for our Multi-family Community in Norwalk.
Responsibilities include supporting and adding value to the company’s marketing efforts, generating a consistent source of qualified traffic, assisting in resident retention programs and providing extraordinary customer service.
Maximizing the long-term performance of the property; managing payables and receivables; preparing accurate and timely reports; as well as working with other team members to provide superior customer service to both current and prospective residents. Maintain resident records and files, including deposits, rent increases, late payments, collections, evictions, applicants and resident move-ins and move-outs. Ensure regulatory compliance requirements as it related to fair housing.
Duties include touring property and leasing to prospective residents while maintaining a 30- 35% closing ratio, following up with prospects and inspect community property.
Qualifications
At least two years’ experience as a leasing consultant/ Assistant Community Manager of 120+units
Experience in leasing and apartment accounting/bookkeeping
Effective problem solving, verbal and written communication skills
Must possess time management skills and be detail oriented
Ability to work independently and have great organized skills
Experience in Yardi, Word and Excel are a PLUS
