Facility Maintenance Worker I | ||
| Education/Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by vocational/technical training in building maintenance practices. Experience: Some general maintenance experience is desirable. License or Certificate: Possession of a valid Class C driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Class A driver's license without brake restrictions preferred. Possession or obtain a Grade I Water Distribution (D1) Certificate issued by the State Water Control Board within 12 months of appointment. Facility Maintenance Worker II Education/Training: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by vocational/technical training in building maintenance practices. Experience: Two years of general building, mechanical, and/or electrical maintenance and repair experience comparable to a Facility Maintenance Worker I with Mesa Water District. License or Certificate: Class “A” California Driver License without brake restriction prior to appointment is required. Grade 1 Water Distribution (D1) Certificate issued by the State Water Control Board prior to appointment is required.
