WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
ConAm Management is looking for a Compliance Analyst to work in our San Diego corporate office. We are looking for a detail oriented individual to complement our Affordable Housing Compliance Team. The successful candidate will be a team player, professional, demonstrate good interpersonal skills, flexible, and able to travel monthly as needed. This position is very fast paced and the individual must be able to meet critical deadlines. Optimal candidate has property management experience with affordable housing programs such as: Section 42, Project Based Section 8, BMIR, BOND and HOME. The basic responsibilities include review and analysis of regulatory agreements, housing regulations and how they interact with each other; monitoring program compliance within our Affordable Software (Utility Allowance Accuracy, Income and Rent Limits), training, tracking, and processing agency audits/reports and responses. In addition, providing support to IT and properties with Yardi and BostonPost compliance related issues.
WHY YOU ARE THE PERFECT FIT:
- 2 years of previous experience working in the apartment management industry
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Yardi and BostonPost use a plus!
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Regulations
- Knowledge of Affordable Housing Programs (Sec 42, Project Based Sec. 8, BMIR, BOND and HOME)
- National LIHTC housing designation (HCCP, C3P, NCP) is a plus!
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess a proactive, positive attitude!
- Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage
