We are currently seeking an experienced Community Director for our 200+ unit property in Moreno Valley, CA.   

At New Standard Equities, Inc. the Community Director (CD) is responsible for the overall operations of the community including, but not limited to, leading, guiding, motivating and developing the onsite team; monitoring financials, staff, operational performance, and maintaining positive resident relations; walking the property to ensure the highest standards of community aesthetics, and managing third-party service providers. 

The CD will ensure all property staff comply with company employment and safety practices and local and federal laws and regulations. They will also supervise areas including the strategic, financial, and operational management of the property, optimizing net operating income through strict adherence of New Standard Equities' policies and procedures.  

In this role you will prepare budget and monthly reports; recruit, hire and train community team members; work closely with corporate accounting and other team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting of operational distribution reports. Also, as the senior manager at the property you will hold ultimate responsibility in ensuring our residents and prospective residents receive customer service and support above and beyond their expectations.  

Using your effective oral and written communication skills, you will promptly address problems, and resolve issues, and you will be comfortable and effective in speaking before groups of customers, residents, investors, executive management, or employees of the company. 

The successful candidate will possess a degree in business administration, finance, or other related field. They will also have previous industry experience, with proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office program, proficiency using Yardi, and proficiency in basic office programs and operations such as Google Mail, Fax, Multi-Line Telephones, etc.  

The work schedule will be based on the needs of the property, and will require evenings, weekends.
