Apartment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for our property in Ashburn, VA. You will work with the Community Manager (Property Manager) to maintain apartments and to respond to residents' calls, both emergency and maintenance. You will complete turns when you have move-in's. On-call is required. No requirement to live on site.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains and repairs physical structures of apartment buildings and maintains grounds for "curb appeal." Large multiple unit apartment property. Maintains cleanliness of property including sidewalks, parking lots, decks and floors Prepares apartments for turnover/move-in in a timely manner Completes work orders in a timely manner Maintains and repairs plumbing, including replacing parts Assists with moving furniture and appliances and installs appliances Organizes and cleans storage sheds, rain gutters, laundry rooms; washes windows Inspects buildings for leaks, failing electrical wires, and other potential safety hazards Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance technician role. Must have strong customer service work ethic.
