Yardi Engagement Analyst

Job Description
This position supports the design, programming, configuration and implementation to systems and business processes that meet the Company’s internal and external client needs for business operations and data analysis.

Evaluates, recommends, and develops business process improvements and enhancements, including developing detailed workflow diagrams, charts, and project plans from concept through implementation.

Conducts detailed needs assessments for proposing systems and/or business solutions by communicating with senior business leaders, team members, and others, and researching technology and systems options that align with the Company’s technology and systems needs and strategies.

Participates in the analysis, testing and deployment of application upgrades to third party developed systems.

Notifies management of project risks and impediments; proactively works with other members of the team to complete assigned tasks as defined by project scope and timelines. Defines and scopes related project tasks, goals and deliverables with proper timelines and schedule.

Creates ad-hoc queries and reports. Understands business reporting requirements, assists with the design and development requirements for reports, and delivers agreed upon results.

Establishes and maintains relationships with assigned client and client investor entity.

Attends weekly meetings and stays abreast of current client goals, concerns, and master plan.


Education

College degree in Information Systems or related field, and/or equivalent experience preferred.

Qualifications

Three or more years of prior experience with Yardi Voyager.

Three of more years of demonstrated ability as a Business Analyst working on software support/implementation projects, development activities, and overall database administration.

Must be proficient with standard business analysis, business process definition and project management concepts and tools.

Basic SQL skills required; Advanced SQL skills preferred.

Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to prepare and explain financial data to executive and senior managers, team members, and internal and external clients, business contacts, and customers.

Employment history that demonstrates the application and usage of an accounting and financial background sufficient to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports in accordance with accounting, finance, budgeting, and cost control principles.
