Property Manager / Community Manager Specialist, Casa Madrid

La Habra, CA 90631

Western National Property Management is looking to fill a Community Manager Specialist position based at Casa Madrid Apartment Homes, a 82 unit community in La Habra, CA. The Community Manager Specialist is responsible for the financial operations of the community. Optimize net operating income through strict adherence of WNPM’s policies and procedures as well as assisting the Regional Manager with property operations as assigned. Carry out the goals and objectives of the owner in the daily overall operations of the apartment community.

The ideal candidate is polished, engaging and energetic. Candidates need significant customer service experience as well as previous multifamily property management experience with a commitment to apply their very best in a high-energy environment that rewards your efforts and dedication!

Job Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of prior multifamily property management experience required.

Supervisory background with consistent management of Leasing, Maintenance and Grounds staff.

Must be willing to travel to and work at multiple sites within a defined region.

Must be able to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and initiate appropriate course of action.

Experience desired in budget preparations and monthly reports preparation.

Understanding of maintenance operations on an apartment community.

Understanding of landlord tenant law to include Fair Housing Laws.

Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Yardi Voyager) knowledge preferred.

Effective administrative, organizational and time management skills.

Professional image coupled with strong interpersonal communication skills in order to interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers and management.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain current auto insurance.

Must maintain an acceptable driving record.

High School Diploma Required. College degree preferred.
