Floating Maintenance Technician

We are looking to fill a Floating Maintenance Technician position at several properties in the Los Angeles area. The Maintenance Technician performs all general apartment and facilities maintenance under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Community Manager in a manner which ensures overall customer service satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

Preferred experience in multifamily residential property maintenance.

Detail oriented and organized

Make ready units for new occupancy per API policy.

Knowledge in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry and appliance repairs and installation (dishwashers, stoves, refrigerators, etc).

Can help with all city inspections and HUD reac inspections

Maintains the highest level of customer service for prospects, residents, vendors, and our corporate office.

Responding to resident requests for maintenance and service by troubleshooting the problem and taking appropriate action to repair and/or restore service within the quality and time standards established by the organization; escalates problem to supervisor or outside contractor as necessary.

Supporting cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible, not being wasteful with materials and supplies, and practicing the correct use for tools and equipment.

Assisting in conducting routine and periodic property inspections to identify safety and risk management concerns, keep the property in good repair, and communication about the physical needs of the property to management.
