Real Estate Property Management Company has an excellent full time career opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Accountant. In this role, you will work as Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable at a high volume 900 unit apartment community in Walnut Creek, CA with an emphasis on accounts receivable. If you are friendly, flexible, goal-oriented, have the ability to multi-task and possess great communication skills we encourage you to apply. MUST have experience with Project based BMR program.

Requirements

  • Work Schedule is Sunday - Thursday 9:00am - 6:00pm
  • Accounting skills with attention to details
  • Skills in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Yardi property management software knowledge preferred.
  • Review of BMR and re-certifications
  • Serve legal notices to residents.
  • Move in move out procedures.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Meet deadlines with time sensitive tasks.
  • Residential property management experience knowledge preferred.
  • Tenant Relations; answer calls, return voicemails and emails
  • Audit leases for accuracy and timely updates.
  • Review payments received and record deposits.
  • 2+ years experience as a Bookkeeper.
  • BS Degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
