Tax Analyst

The Tax Analyst prepares and reviews a variety of tax related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills to effectively interact with team members and investors.
- The ability to manage large and varied amounts of information with multiple due dates.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel (including being proficient in using formulas, pivot tables and other functions), word processing, and internet, SharePoint and database management programs to maintain records of information and develop and provide information for manager’s use.
- Demonstrated experience with PowerPoint and in preparing business presentations.
- Accounts payable experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to represent company management in a support capacity, act as first point of contact for internal team members and external visitors to the Company, and answer questions related to department operating policies. Ability to operate basic office machines such as copiers, faxes, calculators, postage meters, and multi-line telephone systems.
- Demonstrated mathematical skills necessary to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers, decimals, and fractions to review and complete various financial, administrative, and legal documents.
- Preferred employment history demonstrates at least two years of experience in a tax department (public or industry) or legal department. Other employment history that demonstrates the application of analytical skills in reviewing and managing large volume of data.
