Specialist, Learning and Development
Responsibilities
This position will be based at one of our Regional Offices (Bellevue, San Mateo, Woodland Hills, Irvine or San Diego) depending on location of final candidate.
The Learning & Development Specialist performs various functions that support the company's learning programs.
Specific duties include:
- Assist in maintaining learner data and records in the company's Learning Management System (LMS)
- Add courses to the Learning catalogue and assign courses to learners
- Answer questions from learners and resolve help tickets
- Coordinate classroom schedules with vendors and internal facilitators. Reserve rooms and supplies as needed
- Develop learning support assets, including job aids & eLearning assets
Requirements
A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required.
- 1-3 years' experience working with sophisticated database systems is required. This would include data input, management, and reporting. Experience with learning management systems is a preferred, but not required. We will provide training.
- 1-3 years' experience working with internal communications, including newsletters, presentations, updates etc. is required.
- Prior experience with eLearning development is helpful, but not required. We will train using our eLearning tools.
