Property Manager

The Cesar Chavez Foundation seeks experienced, highly motivated, self-starters to assume a full time Property Manager position in San Francisco, CA, Diamond Heights Community. This position will be supervised by a Regional Property Supervisor.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for day-to-day property management operations and the tax credit compliance management and reporting.
Responsible for marketing vacancies, lease-up, rent collections, bank deposits, weekly and monthly reports.
Conduct daily walk-through of the property and conduct quarterly unit inspections and prepare inspection reports.
Assist in the preparation of annual operating budget for the property.
Provide monthly reports to the Property Management Director in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Participate in evening and weekend community building activities with the residents which include CCF Community Services meetings at the property and occasional City Council meetings.
Accept after-hour phone calls from residents for emergency maintenance service requests.
Attend necessary training seminars and workshops.
Work with staff, resident leaders, Regional Property Supervisor and Property Management Director to develop annual community building goals and monitor progress on established goals.
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3 years work experience in managing affordable properties with Tax Credit Program and HUD.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Tax Credit Compliance and reporting training
Rent collection and property management software experience.
Experience with Yardi software is a plus.
Sufficient computer proficiency to produce correspondence, reports, flyers, etc.Ability to work independently.
Able to travel to attend property management and community building training.
