Dynamic Assistant Manager Needed! E & S Ring is a leading residential property management company with apartment communities located throughout California and Washington. We have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join our team and work at our 195 unit apartment community plus 5 commercial spaces, located in downtown Petaluma, CA.  We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual who can work independently as well as work together with a team, provide excellent customer service and establish a positive, productive working relationship with staff.
 
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for all phases of the property operations and to act in that capacity in the absence of the Business Manager. Emphasis on accounting administration including payables and receivables, deposit accounting and auditing accounts. Assist in meeting revenue goals of the property, occupancy management, resident retention and providing a quality living experience for the residents. Also you will be responsible for participating in and helping with resident activities, assisting with lease renewal programs, leasing apartments, completing leasing paperwork, conducting market surveys, and all other areas of resident retention and customer service. Must be available to work on weekends as needed.
 
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of property management experience or related experience. Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets and type 40 wpm. Some staff supervision experience. Ability to function effectively in a customer service environment. Knowledge and ability to articulate legal procedures for evictions in local area. Computerized accounting systems (YARDI) desired.
