We are seeking an energetic, bright, creative, and goal-oriented individual to fill our dynamic HR Assistant role.  This position will report to the Manager of HR and supports one or more functional areas to include: employee relations, payroll and benefits. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain employee files including filing, file conversion, sending and retrieving from storage as needed
  • Respond timely to all verification of employment requests
  • Conducts New Hire Orientation on Mondays and Tuesdays every week
  • Handles Unemployment claims (shared with another associate), sets up Garnishments in payroll system, and other time sensitive processes
  • Processes Referral Bonuses per company policy
  • Assists in coordinating various forms of pay to staff with the Payroll team
  • Prepares department invoices and executive expense reports
  • Receives and distributes department mail
  • Orders office supplies for the department as needed
  • Special projects such as subpoena document gathering, employee file copying
  • Coordinates department celebrations such as decorating for an associate’s birthday
  • Other tasks as assigned


A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required.


  • High school diploma req. Bachelor degree pref.
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience with some financial/payroll and HR experience ideal but not required
  • Candidate must excel in the following areas:

    • Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
    • Training Facilitation and ability to present information to others
    • Documentation Management and maintaining files
    • Ability to communicate well both written and verbal
    • Attention to detail
