JOB SUMMARY:
The Purchasing Coordinator will report to the Director of Purchasing and will be responsible for working with national suppliers to control expenses and maintain a high standard of quality for all Pinnacle properties.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provides administrative support to the Director of Purchasing.
- Develops and maintains relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Prepares bid documents in comparison format and seeks clarifications and answers as required.
- Assists in administering national programs with multiple suppliers.
- Interpret purchasing data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Executes purchasing strategies for the organization.
- Assists in obtaining, analyzing and presenting telecom and laundry proposals to clients.
- Accurately abstracts contracts and monitors notice and expiration dates.
- Controls energy expenses by managing energy consumption and deregulated utilities.
- Monitors aging reports to control outstanding balances.
- Maintains organization of electronic and paper files.
- Provides customer service to internal and external clients.
- Assists the Construction and Facilities Maintenance team as needed.
- Achieves high productivity through reliable and punctual attendance and reports any tardiness, attendance and disciplinary issues to immediate supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
