Location: Regional Office - Denver, CO

JOB SUMMARY:

The Purchasing Coordinator will report to the Director of Purchasing and will be responsible for working with national suppliers to control expenses and maintain a high standard of quality for all Pinnacle properties.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides administrative support to the Director of Purchasing.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Prepares bid documents in comparison format and seeks clarifications and answers as required.
  • Assists in administering national programs with multiple suppliers.
  • Interpret purchasing data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Executes purchasing strategies for the organization.
  • Assists in obtaining, analyzing and presenting telecom and laundry proposals to clients.
  • Accurately abstracts contracts and monitors notice and expiration dates.
  • Controls energy expenses by managing energy consumption and deregulated utilities.
  • Monitors aging reports to control outstanding balances.
  • Maintains organization of electronic and paper files.
  • Provides customer service to internal and external clients.
  • Assists the Construction and Facilities Maintenance team as needed.
  • Achieves high productivity through reliable and punctual attendance and reports any tardiness, attendance and disciplinary issues to immediate supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.
