Director of Property Management

Seeking full time, experienced Director of Property Management for our Corporate Headquarters in San Mateo, CA.    Our portfolio includes apartment buildings, office buildings, single tenant buildings and neighborhood shopping centers.

 This person will have the responsibility for overseeing the management of both our residential and commercial properties.  This will include supervising 3 on-site resident managers and two administrative staff members in the Corporate office.  Commercial property responsibilities will include overseeing the leasing and day to day management of our office and retail buildings. This will include interfacing with our commercial leasing agent, handling lease negotiations, preparing leases and lease renewals and interfacing with our commercial tenants. 

 This person will also be involved in budget preparation and interfacing with Company maintenance staff and outside vendors and suppliers in a coordinated effort to maintain the properties in good physical condition with a stabilized fiscal operation.  

 Qualifications:  Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook, good people skills with an ability to communicate professionally with all levels, self directed, extremely organized, detail oriented with a good ability for follow up, good writing skills and strong supervisorial skills.  Experience in portfolio management, preferably both commercial and residential.

 California Real Estate License Required.
