Western National Property Management is looking to fill a Community Manager position @ Palm Lane/Barcelona/Seville Apartment Homes, 120 units located in Anaheim, CA. The Community Manager is responsible for the financial operations of the community. Optimize net operating income through strict adherence of WNPM’s policies and procedures as well as assisting the Regional Manager with property operations as assigned. Carry out the goals and objectives of the owner in the daily overall operations of the apartment community.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum 2 years of prior property management experience.
Must be able to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and initiate appropriate course of action.
Prior supervisory background with consistent management of Leasing, Maintenance and Grounds staff.
Experience desired in budget preparations and monthly reports preparation.
Understanding on maintenance operations of a apartment community.
Understanding of landlord tenant law to include Fair Housing Laws.
Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Yardi Voyager) knowledge preferred.
Effective administrative, organizational and time management skills.
Professional image coupled with strong interpersonal communication skills in order to interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers and management.
Must possess a valid drivers license and maintain current auto insurance.
Must maintain an acceptable driving record.
High School Diploma Required. College degree preferred.
