Affordable Assistant Property Manager

The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for assisting the Property Manager with the operation of the property. The purpose of this position is to provide the additional assistance needed to manage the property.

The duties listed here are not all-inclusive; rather, they indicate the types of duties normally performed by this position.

? Assist in overall management of the property. ? Conduct tenant move-ins, certification/recertification according to Local, State and Federal guidelines in a timely fashion. ? Process and deposit resident rent checks and vouchers, informing the Property Manager with regard to any existing or potential problems. ? Maintain and update property Wait List. ? Process applicants. ? Assist with weekly and monthly reporting. ? Assist in issuing appropriate communication documents to residents. ? Generate Work Orders. ? Assist with resident issues and complaints. ? Answering telephones, taking messages, and scheduling appointments. ? Continually improves management and technical skills. ? Maintain a thorough working knowledge of and adheres to the company’s policies, procedures and regulations. ? Attend workshops, seminars, conferences, meetings and trainings. ? Other duties as required.

Qualifications

? High school education or equivalent, some college desired. ? Affordable housing designation is desired ? Proficient in Microsoft Word; Excel. ? Attention to detail, exceptional organizational and communication skills. ? Capable of completing tasks with minimum supervision. ? Experience with Yardi Software is desired.
