HUD Property Manager

Palo Verde Apartments has an immediate need for an Apartment Manager with Project-Based Section 8 HUD, TCAC and BOND experience to manage its apartment community with 80 family apartment homes located in Indio. Selected individual will rent apartments complying with all Affordable and HUD housing requirements, provide outstanding resident relations, perform various administrative duties and compile and complete various reports.

Must have a minimum of three (3) years property management experience; some of which has been in a management capacity; must be proficient with Section 8 HUD, Section 42 and BOND requirements, and possess outstanding management, administrative, follow-through, leadership and communication skills. Must have the ability to identify and resolve matters in a timely manner and manage difficult situations effectively.

Education should include High School Diploma or GED; and training in Project Based Section 8 HUD, Section 42, Fair Housing, Sales/Marketing/Leasing, Sexual Harassment and Diversity, and Job Safety.

Rental payments are collected through our centralized Accounting Department; therefore, there are NO Rent Collections, Deposits and Data Entry duties!!!
