Responsibilities

  • Manage all operations of the Essex community
  • Supervise, train and motivate staff
  • Monitor and direct leasing activity, all on-site marketing, and maintain an on-going, in-depth knowledge of market
  • Monitor and direct all property maintenance operations
  • Responsible for compliance with all Fair Housing regulations, and compliance with local ordinance and laws
  • Responsible for all site administration functions and timely and accurate production of all reporting documentation
  • Provide professional customer service at all times

Qualifications

  • Two-five years direct Property Management experience required. ARM or CAM designation preferred
  • Knowledge of budgets and financial statements and ability to work within budgeted guidelines
  • Supervisory experience of two or more staff members
  • Strong sales, marketing, and customer service experience
  • Strong written/oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of eviction law and Fair Housing mandates
  • Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel. Yardi preferred
